I was born in 1974, so that I could tell friends who were born later that I have lived under a dictatorship. Beyond my hometown of Málaga, I have resided in Madrid, Segovia, Barcelona, Murcia and Menorca, and I have spent time living aboard a ship covering the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. In 2007 I traded Europe for Asia, first living and working in China for more than five years before moving to Cambodia in December 2012.
By trade I am a chef, and only recently have I begun to write professionally. I treat my keyboard as lovingly as I would a casserole, staining every key with extra virgin olive oil. My passion for the written word rivals my love of cuisine, and the day I don’t write I will be dead.
